a december desktop for you!

Guess what guys?? OUR PAPER SHOP will be having monthly desktop downloads, in a sort of series. Because emma and I were SO excited about them, we decided to release one for december, before our launch. You could say we’re overly excited about the launch in general, so we wanted to get a little somethin’ somethin’ out there for your guys to see again.

Do note that you’re viewing an image (above) of the wallpaper quite a bit smaller than actual desktop size. To get the full effect, click on the various sizes below for whatever device or screen size you happen to be on! You may then save the image as a background and enjoy. Mines already up and ready on my screen!!

love! this is actually perfect as my bf and i have been fighting over when winter starts. i said it was still fall. he said winter started. this could’ve been solved w/ a simple google search… but i like that he’ll see this when he gets home today. much, much better:)

Love it! Although it kinda only works for those in the US since we (New Zealand) are in Summer over here. How strange that your first day of Winter is on a random day, our first days of seasons are on the 1st day of the month to make it easy! Haha.

@Danelle, Here in the US, the first day of winter is marked by the calendar date with the shortest day and longest night caused by the maximum axial tilt of our earth towards the sun. The winter solstice. Since NZ is in the southern hemisphere your first official day of winter is six months from ours, so June 22 or so (depends on the year). Winter is not random. It is cyclical and predicable. Which is pretty neat.

I love that desktop! And I love how you’re going to be doing a ‘Monthly’ Desktop post! Awesome.
But…maybe I’m boring? I find that a lot of the time I can never think of new things to do! I need to change that though. Your desktop will be my motivator! :) hehe.

don’t worry, we’re releasing a desktop calendar for EVERY month from now on. :) :) we’ll have ones similar to this, too!!
