Today’s the day, everyone … Emma and I couldn’t be more excited to launch OUR PAPER SHOP after months of hard work and collaboration!! It has certainly been an adventure working on everything from initial design concepts to business and marketing. We’ve learned a lot and can’t wait to see where this takes us. Plus, I have a super cool business partner … if I haven’t mentioned it enough already. But enough of the chit chat, you guys should head on over to our paper shop and check everything out. We hope you find something you love!

I was so excited to find this fun little letterpress studio, snap + tumble. They have such a simple and bold design aesthetic that falls right in line with what I love. It’s always been a dream of mine to own a letterpress printer, which I know may be a far out wish. I just love the way text becomes slightly distressed when printed this way. Each piece takes on a life of its own, in a way. I like that part of it most.
This all reminds me, our paper shop launches in FOUR days!! Emma and I have been working so hard for what seems like forever, so we couldn’t be more excited to get this thing on the ground running. So so so close!
I think the simplicity in this calendar is exactly what makes it elegant. There’s so much (black) space, which is refreshing for a change. It’s definitely a little inspiration while I’ve got PAPER on my mind … all the time. And can we talk about those succulents?? They’re quickly becoming my favorite plant out there. Not only are they pretty, but they’re actually easy to keep up. AKA, I don’t kill them as easily!!

We thought it would be nice to give you all a sneak preview of everything before we open on January 2nd. Hopefully you’re all as excited as we are!! I can’t even begin to describe how amazed I am to see our hard work beautifully photographed by Sara & Rocky. Emma and I area lucky girls to have so many nice people helping us make our dreams become a reality!

Guess what guys?? OUR PAPER SHOP will be having monthly desktop downloads, in a sort of series. Because emma and I were SO excited about them, we decided to release one for december, before our launch. You could say we’re overly excited about the launch in general, so we wanted to get a little somethin’ somethin’ out there for your guys to see again.
Do note that you’re viewing an image (above) of the wallpaper quite a bit smaller than actual desktop size. Okay, I’m just going to be straight up honest. I’m pretty in love with everything kraft paper, yet haven’t really used it … ever. We will, however, be using it for some of OUR PAPER SHOP products! So finally – I’m starting to dabble. Phew!!
These labeled envelopes caught my eye right away. Yes. Envelopes! The calligraphy on them is stunning on top of the kraft paper. Add some vintage stamps and you’ve got one of the prettiest little pieces.
Paper Runway, an online magazine, has gotten me even more excited for OUR PAPER SHOP after flipping through. I picked out my favorite image from the issue to share with you guys. And you know why it’s my favorite? Neutrals, white, and STAMPS!! Seriously, I’m so in love with them and this one was a no brainer. This is one you all should definitely give a looksie, okay??
As promised on twitter, Emma and I have been busy putting together our first sneak peek of our paper shop. Because we aren’t launching until the first week of January, we thought it would be perfect for you all to see the TWO calendars we will be offering. This way, if either of them tickle your fancy, you can hold out for them until we open!
After hearing all of your feedback on calendars, we decided it would be best to offer a small and large version. The small calendar (photographed above) will fit perfectly on your desktop and you can even take notes on the days! The large calendar (below), on the other hand, is meant to be hung and viewed in all it’s prettiness. We were so excited to be able to collaborate with photographer Laura Dart on this piece! Her work is absolutely beautiful.
