Apply here payday loans 100% secure

Guess what guys?? I’ve moved! I’ve been working to rebrand myself over the past few months and I’m finally ready to make the leap. With that said, I will no longer blog here under MOXEE. I’ve moved to my new place at blog.imbreannarose.com. A few other things have changed as well :

My twitter account is still the same, but the handle has changed from “moxee_” to “imbreannarose.” Facebook, on the other hand, doesn’t let you switch your name … BIG bummer. So, you can now find me here! And finally, if you follow me on bloglovin – everything will remain the same, but I’ll be contacting support to change my name soon.

I’ll keep moxee up for a few weeks until I have it redirect to the new location. Don’t worry, everything that WAS on moxee is on my new blog, too! See ya on the other side.

I’ll be honest – I have “enough” dresses, but as of late, I haven’t been happy with very many of them. So of course I took to the internet to find some new goodies for my own wishlist. The theme? a neutral white. I fell in love with all of these and would love to have them in my closet, sigh. The top two are classy while the bottom four have a little more flair. You never know when you’re going to need either!

This week for my column on Studio Sweet Studio, I decided to be gutsy. Everyone wants to know about pricing as a freelance creative, but not a lot of people talk about it. It all seems pretty hush hush. I took this as an opportunity to talk freely and honestly about my thoughts about pricing. I’ve always said I’m an open book, so let’s do this. Please please please share your thoughts about this one guys : this is the perfect time to start up a discussion between all of us! Here is a snippet from the article:

“Not many people talk freely about pricing out freelance work. It’s this scary and unknown place, but honestly, everyone wants to know. I plan on covering a variety of topics regarding money over the next few weeks, so definitely check back for more! Before I sart, let’s get real : pricing is 100% different for everyone. No two people are alike. Creatives have different work ethics, skill sets, and experience … all of which need to be taken into account. It is my goal to give you a general sense of how to approach things.”

Yeah, I don’t paint that well, but I do love this quote from John Green’s book : The Fault in our Stars. Thought I’d get off the computer and make something of it!

Alrighty … part TWO of sharing some of my film photographs with you all. You can see part one here! Showing these really makes me miss my Canon AE-1 baby and spending hours in the darkroom. It was always so calm and therapeutic in there.

dance dance dance

My boyfriend Michael is currently attending graduate school and guess what?? His program ( for land use planning ) is hosting a masquerade dance! Oh boy … memories of our senior Prom are coming back from years ago now. Ha! Because we’ve been together for almost five years, we sometimes skimp on the “cute” things. As usual, we talked about going to this little cocktail party together for a bit, but I decided to make it official with a little note that I sent to him. I’ll admit it’s not much, but it’s the little things that count, right??

eat + read

My weekend consisted of good books + food. I finished three books over the course of last week, despite my busy work load. Honestly, it’s been really good for me to have something to look forward to at the end of the day that can take me away from the computer and relax my mind a little!

Book recommendation : The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

classy moodboard

March 30th, 2012 / 1 COMMENT

I’m pumped to share a moodboard with you guys for a project I’m currently working on. Although I can’t say much about the project, the board speaks for itself, right?? Somethings about to be classy / casual and totally fun to work on! The coral-y colors will be secondary “pop,” while the navy, sage, and neutrals will be at the forefront. Let’s go!
