I’ll be honest – I have “enough” dresses, but as of late, I haven’t been happy with very many of them. So of course I took to the internet to find some new goodies for my own wishlist. The theme? a neutral white. I fell in love with all of these and would love to have them in my closet, sigh. The top two are classy while the bottom four have a little more flair. You never know when you’re going to need either!

You guys. I want to DIY something like this SO bad … they’re definitely on my wishlist of things to make, that’s for sure. I have so many pens, pencils, markers and little gadgets that need to be in a much spiffier place. Currently, it’s an old mug that I could do without. Time to get crackin’! After mother nature decided to dump a bunch of sleet, rain, and mushiness in Minneapolis on Tuesday, I’ve been day dreaming of the ocean and other warmer places like none other! It’s not that much longer until my trip to Arizona in May and April will certainly bring better weather around here. So why not get excited about it!? I put together a little wishlist for a simple spring. Meaning, neutral colors paired with pretty coral and mustard hues. If you can’t tell from moxee’s branding, I kind of dig that color palette. A lot.

Last August, I chopped a good 10-12 inches of my hair off. It was summer and I let the humidity + heat talk me into a shorter look. I liked it for about a month until I got restless I can. No more top knots, braids, or long curly hair. Nope! I’m totally involved in a vicious cycle when it comes to my hair. I’ll let it grow for a year, get sick of it, chop it off, get mad at myself, and grow it out again. But not this time!

This time, I’ve told everyone around me to stop my future self from cutting my hair so short. I’ll do whatever it takes. Heck, I’m even thinking of making a video of myself telling my future self to STOP. I’m probably sounding crazy, right?? Oops. In the mean time, I’ve decided to take better care of my hair (in hopes that it grows faster). I invested in GOOD shampoo + conditioner, reduced my use of straighteners and curling irons, and am using other helpful products. Cheers to long hair! End rant.

I found a beautifully curated online shop called Pigeon Toe. They seriously know how to pick, guys!! Everything there is precisely FOR the modern home. The kind of modern home that isn’t just brick and stell. There’s the right pops of color and charm, too. That’s what got me hooked!!

I’ve gotten off my game with my usual monday feature // wishlist. But I’m back and ready to go! This week, it’s all about color blocking. Every time I walk into J.Crew, I die a little bit inside because they’re SO good at it. Maybe it’s my love for bright things, but it stops me in my tracks every time.

Here’s the problem. Despite my love for color blocking, I don’t own any brightly colored pants. I’ve tried them on and contemplated buying many times, but for some reason … I just can’t. I think I get worried about WHAT color to get. Red? Green? Pale pink? It’s a hard choice, but it’s definitely on my wishlist for this spring.

For the past couple of months, I’ve been on the search for the perfect denim shirt. It’s one of those staple items that I’ve wanted to personally own, but haven’t gotten to it. So far, I’ve found my favorites at both J.Crew and Madewell, but if I’m being honest … Madewell is winning so far.

Attention cool chairs … I want you.

I never thought I’d be that in to chairs, but I am. Michael has these amazingly cool retro inspired chairs in his apartment that his grandparents made , and every since I gave them a good luck, I was in love. Now, it’s sort of been a hobby of mine to look online for fun and cool chairs and couches. Did I just make myself sound really boring?! HA, I think so … woops!!

Anyway, here are some of my favorite finds recently. I very much wish I had the skills to make something like this, but I know I would have zero knowledge or patience when it comes to actually going through with it.
