A little blue here and there. A little adventure, woods and all.

My boyfriend Michael is currently attending graduate school and guess what?? His program ( for land use planning ) is hosting a masquerade dance! Oh boy … memories of our senior Prom are coming back from years ago now. Ha! Because we’ve been together for almost five years, we sometimes skimp on the “cute” things. As usual, we talked about going to this little cocktail party together for a bit, but I decided to make it official with a little note that I sent to him. I’ll admit it’s not much, but it’s the little things that count, right??

These collages by Francisca Pageo are pretty darn neat and remind me just how much I’d love to start my own little journal, filled with cutouts and hand lettering. I’ve been thinking about getting a simple ( and small ) moleskin notebook and starting it up. Anyone else do this??

My weekend consisted of good books + food. I finished three books over the course of last week, despite my busy work load. Honestly, it’s been really good for me to have something to look forward to at the end of the day that can take me away from the computer and relax my mind a little!
Book recommendation : The Fault in Our Stars by John Green.

I’m pumped to share a moodboard with you guys for a project I’m currently working on. Although I can’t say much about the project, the board speaks for itself, right?? Somethings about to be classy / casual and totally fun to work on! The coral-y colors will be secondary “pop,” while the navy, sage, and neutrals will be at the forefront. Let’s go!

Oh boy, another closet visit to be obsessed about. This time, it’s actress Camille Cregan and her beautiful style. Not gonna lie, I would love to wear that first outfit. Somewhere. Sometime. How fun would it be to twirl around in that simple number? Sigh, everything is just so pretty.

I was lucky enough to work with the lovely + talented lady behind Paper Fashion, Katie, on her new blog design! We wanted to convey both her personality and illustration aesthetic into a happy little place where her work could live. Simplicity with flair.
Honestly, it was hard NOT to be inspired while working on this project … simply because I was surrounded by Katie’s gorgeous illustrations + glitter on a daily basis. She’s great at what she does, guys, and I couldn’t be more happy to know her! Now, I know you don’t want to read more, so check out the design LIVE, right here.

I thought these images from Glori Marigo went really nicely together. Sure, they were taken for two completely different things, but the colors are just so beautiful, right??
