2011 was a definite growing year for me … I started blogging and have been freelancing for about a year now. And although I’m not some kind of expert in either of those areas, I’ve found that the most fulfilling part of it all has definitely been the connections I’ve made. Whether it be a new twitter buddy, client, or business partner, I’ve loved watching these new relationships flourish in the best possible way.
For all of you creatives out there: don’t be afraid to say hello to someone new and make a connection! Honestly, you never know what can come of it. Friendships, projects, collaborations … who knows! I couldn’t be more thankful for the job I have, working with new and creative people every sing day. Sure, it can be endless somedays, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world, as cheesy as that may sound.
I can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store … I have a sneaky feeling it’s going to be a good one! Only time will tell, but I know that I have some pretty amazing people I’m surrounded by, which makes all the difference. Bring it twenty twelve.
